Conferences: Here is the signup for fall conferences. Your child needs to be present to lead our discussion, so please keep that in mind when choosing a time. Please let me know if these dates won't work and we can work something out. We have been working hard on the slides in class to set goals! 

Science: Due to our schedule, we have science in the afternoon at the end of the day. Students leaving early for appointments are missing the full lessons. All the video links are in Google Classroom. If your child has to leave early, please have them watch the video so they don't fall behind. Students will receive a grade for science on report cards. Thank you! 

Safety Patrol: Is your student interested in volunteering time before or after school to help with patrolling the sidewalks? Please see information below: 

Dear Families,

If your child has any interest in participating in Safety Patrol this year, please have them attend an informational meeting with Mrs. Fiesbeck and Mrs. Schmidt in Mrs. Fiesbeck's classroom (Room 107) on Wednesday, October 1st at 3:55pm - 4:15p.m. If your child is interested, this form will need to be completed before they will be given a post. Permission forms need to be completed by Friday, October 3rd.

Nightly Reading: We are finally in a good reading routine! Kids not able to read at home have been reading at lunch and it has been going very well. There have been lots of completed bookmarks and lots of touchdowns!

Music Announcement: 

Hello Fourth grade Families! 

            Your 4th grader is bringing home an order form for Recorders as a part of our 4th grade music program. Please read my letter; as I go into more detail about our  curriculum and hopefully answer any questions. Remember that it is not required to purchase a recorder or book, just an option. If you choose not to purchase a recorder or book your student will be "checked out" a school Recorder and Book.  

All Orders forms are due October 13th.  Here is a digital copy

All About Me: Each week a student is the All About Me student. They have completed a poster in class(but may need to finish it at home) and get to share special things about themselves each day. When it is your child's turn, I will send home a paper stating everything he or she needs. Esme is up this week!

Get to Know You Forms: Please fill out this "Get to Know You" form if you haven't already so I can get to know your child better! I only have 10 completed forms right now. 

If you are able to volunteer in the classroom or if you're willing to take projects home to complete, please fill out this form. Thank you for your willingness to help!

Here is the SJPS volunteer form. Remember you must complete this form every year if you plan to volunteer in any school or attend a field trip. Thanks for doing this in advance!
