                                                                             March is Reading Month: Students will be listening to Lincoln teacher created read alouds and reading books selected for a March Madness competition. Later in March, they will vote on their favorites, culminating in one book that wins it all! Ask your child what books they like each week. The recording I made is from a book titled Broken! They have completed a poster in class(but may need to finish it at home) and get to share special things about themselves each day. Bookmarks/Home Reading: Just a reminder that the only homework in 4th grade is still reading and filling out the bookmark nightly. I save all the bookmarks and will return them to the kids at the end of the year so they can see all the success they have had with reading. Thanks for initializing the bookmarks as well! Valentine's Party: Students may bring valentine cards for the party on Friday. Please make sure they have one for everyone. If they want to put their classmate's names, here is a class list . Here is a signup for the party. We are having pizza, fruit, and treats since it's a half day and the kids will be hungry.
